On behalf of the organization committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to the "Otolaryngology-Head &Neck Surgery International Convention", to be hosted by the King Saud bin A/Aziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS). and King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Guard, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 09– 11th Novmber 2009.

This convention is intended to update otolaryngologists, audiologists, allied healthcare professionals in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region in recent advances in related fields. Otolaryngology-Head &Neck Surgery International Convention is a premier forum for the presentation and discussion of technology advances and research results in the field of ORL-H&NS.
The convention brings together leading physicians, scientists, researchers and academics in ORL-H&NS from around t he world.
The latest research advances in fields ranging from traditional surgical techniques to evolving advance technologies, new medications and outcome studies are explored in Innovations’ panel sessions.

Towards the end of this conference, the participant will be able to:
Enumerate significant advances in Pediatric otolaryngology in relation to otitis Media, Airway surgery, Obstructive sleep apnea and speech surgery.
Discuss the recent options in the treatment of patients with head and neck malignancies including the range of surgical treatment in laryngeal carcinoma, surgical reconstruction of the pharynx and esophagus and new recommendations for neck dissection.
In addition they understand and manage the laryngo- pharyngeal manifestations of gastro -esophagal reflux disease and laryngotracheal reconstruction in adults.
Review the current progress in otology, neuro-otology with special emphasis on general otology, hearing diagnostics, early detection of hearing loss and the intervention, Hearing aids, cochlear implantation and vestibular therapy.
Highlight recent developments and trends in the cure of patients with rhinosinusistis including allergic fungal sinusitis, pathogenesis of chronic rhinosinusitis, evaluation of children with rhinosinusitis and endoscopic surgery for chronic rhino sinusitis.
Recognize and realize the aesthetic considerations of the head and neck, key concepts in rhinoplasty, surgical methods and its philosophy in external ear reconstruction.
